After my last post in 2015, life took me on quite a journey — two boys, three cities, and countless stories in between. Through it all, I stayed connected to art. For a time, my focus shifted to music — I even returned to the piano after 30 years! Yet, contemporary art has always remained close to my heart. Now, I’m reenergizing my first love: this blog.
I believe that the beauty around us — subtle, imperfect, and often overlooked — makes us more loving, peaceful, and open-minded. True beauty isn’t kitsch; it’s an inner feeling. I once found it in a thin plastic bag drifting through the night, or in the sound of a beautiful language in an old film. Recognizing these moments — and accepting them as art — feels to me like the most noble sentiment.
Through this blog, I want to highlight such expressions of art and beauty. My goal isn’t to create world peace, but a smaller, more personal one: to make you feel that noble sentiment, even for a moment. I hope I sometimes succeed — and your feedback is always appreciated.
